Abstract
learning model that emphasizes the humanizing students, with attention to meeting the needs of students in learning. This paper seeks to want to examine the humanistic learning theory and its application in the teaching of Islamic Education. This study is a literature research by using content analysis in the data analysis. From the reference, the search can be affirmed that the Islamic Education humanism learning theory can be used in learning the Islamic Education material, that is Islamic faith, Quran Hadith, Fiqh, Tasawwuf Morals and History of Islam. The application humanitic learning theory in Islamic education can be done by giving the reasons (evidence) the rational against the teachings of Islam, giving students the opportunity to think critically and creatively, connect with the real world of students. Learning strategies of Islamic education as the application of humanistic theories can be done with active, creative, fun, cooperative, contextual, and inquirydiscovery learning strategies. Keyword: Theory, learning, humanistic, Islamic education Abstrak Teori belajar Humanistik merupakan model pembelajaran yang menekankan kepada memanusiakan siswa, dengan memperhatikan pemenuhan kebutuhan siswa dalam belajar. Tulisan ini berupaya menelaah paradigm pembelajaran humanistik dan penerapannya dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), yang meliputi materi/sub materi akidah, al-Qur’an Hadith, Fiqh, Akhlak Tasawwuf dan Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam. Dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam teori belajar humanisme bisa digunakan sebagai cara untuk menyampaikan materi PAI. Penarapan teori belajar humanistik dalam materi PAI dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan alasan-alasan (bukti-bukti) rasional terhadap ajaran Islam, memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk berpikir kritis, kreatif terhadap materi PAI yang disampaikan, menghubungkan materi PAI dengan dunia nyata siswa. Strategi pembelajaran PAI sebagai aplikasi teori humanistik dapat dilakukan dengan strategi pembelajaran aktif, kreatif, menyenangkan, koperatif, kontekstual, dan inquiry- discovery.
