Abstract
The 1st International Converence on Islamic Studies is the fisrt event in the series. We are proud to organise and host this event at STAIN Pamekasan Madura. ICONIS 2017 provided an opportunity for all those interested in Islamic studies to discuss their research, thought, and to exchange their ideas. We receive papers from all the following topics, Qur‟anic studies, Sociology of Islam, Islamic Law, Islamic concept of Economy and Business, Islamic Education, Islamic Culture, Interreligius Relationships. This years we were together with 62 papers, experienced researchers, Ph. D, student of graduate, and students of post doctoral researchers, academicians, and professional from different universities, government and non-government universities and enjoy about 35 presentations. ICONIS 2017 attracting such a high number of participants is a good indicator of the success and means the conference serving its purpose and offers a good opportunities for scholarly exchange and networking. I would like to thanks all paricipans, especially the keynote speakers who joinning this event, and also thanks the Cheif of STAIN Pamekasan for supporting and his contribution to the conference, also for the committees, a huge of thanks for the hard works and your commit, and thousands of apologize for all mistakes found in this event.
