Abstract
Novel of Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer is a novel that written by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. This novel is talking about some of colonialism, nasionalism and the movement struggle. This novel is talking about measure of nasionalsm that is done by europe nation to indigine nation. And kinds of measure of nasionalism that include in this novel is has goal to struggle for indigine nation honor. Based on the statement above, there are two research problem in this research. The first, how to measure the colonialism in Novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, the second, how to measure the nasionalism in Novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. This research use kualitative research, descriptive and library research. The data source is get from Novel Bumi Manusia by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The data that taken in this research is kinds of measure of colonialism and nasionalism. The Technique data collection of this research is scrutinize and note. But in validity of data is use triangulation of theory.
